Mini Microwave Activation & Infrared Safety Combined Sensor

The microwave/radar and presence sensors integrates activation & safety into one. Applicable for all types of automatic doors. The activation function is performed by microwave technology, while the presence safety uses an active infrared screen at the door threshold. A unique technology and setting the trend for automatic doors with threshold coverage, -looking back capabilities. Applicable for office buildings, , shopping malls, airports, commuter train/bus stations, data center, research institute, banks, etc.

The M-530, is based upon the most reliable active infrared (AI) technology available-Floor Reflection Method (FRM), There are 32 light spots individual detection points, with a combination of a microwave for motion detection and  2-row presence sensor with 1-row look back function designed to provide both activation and safety protection for any tpes of automatic doors in a single device.

The detection mounting height is up to 3m high or more providing a dense zone of presence detection closer to the door.

Microwave technology

The microwave technology adopts the German module 24.125 Ghz. sensor. It ignores and interference from humidity and temperature. Reliable working performance in activation functions.

Background detection self learning function

Infrared presence adopts background self-learning function, during power on it automatically starts the background learning function on the detection zone area. Free from interference from light distortions and shadow background reflections. Ensures effective detection. Free from false entry detection or disturbance from objects at detection zone area.

Threshold Safety LOOKBACK Function

When adjusting the infrared presence range, the first row can be adjusted to the door overhead threshold for added safety. When a person is detected at the threshold and the 1st row is activated the lookback function is activated. The sensor will keep the door open. When it is cleared it will ignore the sliding door panels and it will close safely.
